First off let me start by saying before you read this book you will need chocolate and tissues.
So now that iv prepared you, this book hits all the feels. This is by far the most amazing book Maas has written, the improvement from book 1 to now is astonishing. This novel is categorized as young adults but it does have mature content so I recommend it for mid to late teenagers as some of the content is very explisive. In this novel Maas has a lot happen in one book so it is just a rollercoaster of emotions, but Mass has brilliantly set this book up. Events that have happened in previous books that seemed so random contribute to the plot of this novel in such a surprising and fantastic way. Suddenly every random event that has happened in the previous books is suddenly making sense!
Not only is the plot extremely enjoyable but we finally see several characters we haven’t seen since the prequel, you can see how important every storyline is so important and contributes to the big picture. Characters come together and work together as a team, it’s is fantastic watching so many strong and loveable characters come together to defeat an evil that threatens them all. An evil that is even bigger than us readers first thought, not only must they work as a team to save their world but also save each other. This novel not only emphasizes saving the world but also friendship, love, and loyalty. The love that these characters have for each other is extremely moving making the story that much more pulling.
